Job duties: Employee will be trained to rotate and stock product to the shelf according to the company's instructions. Daily deliveries will also have to be rotated into our cooler. Produce clerks will have to inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate actions for items that do not meet our standards. Employee will cut and package some fruits and vegetables for resale. Maintaining a clean and sanitary work space and sales floor is also very important.
Produce clerks will spend most of their time on the sales floor and will need to greet customers as well as respond to customers inquiries and special requests. Helpful, friendly and enthusiastic personalities will thrive in this environment.
The ability to lift 40 lbs. is preferred.
The position will be offered at either part-time or seasonal full-time status, based on applicant’s availability and restrictions. Working several weekends will be required. The scheduled shift will typically be morning into afternoon.
