Stella Farms is an alpaca farm located in Jenkins, MN.
In the spring of 2016, we were driving home from a short trip to northwest Minnesota when we passed an alpaca farm. What started as a series of "I wonder if alpacas..." questions turned into a lot of research about these unique and intriguing animals. With the help of some great mentors we decided to dive in and start a small farm focused on fiber, breeding, and being a resource for others like us whose journey starts with "I wonder."
Today, we have a herd of 13 (the count can vary from time-to-time as we have new crias - the name for alpaca babies - or sell one of our herd. Our amazing group of alpacas produce beautiful fleece that in turn leads to cozy products including socks, mittens, hats, gloves and much more.
We have both an online store and a little retail shop on our farm where you can experience why alpaca is unlike any other material you will experience. Shop with us to learn for yourself.
We also encourage you to follow us on Facebook for updates on store hours and to be the first to know about special events we hold where you can spend time up close and personal with our herd. You can also check out our Meet Our Alpacas page - https://www.stellafarmsalpacas.com/meet-our-alpacas to learn all about our happy little herd!
We are typically open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Keep in mind, we are a working farm. That means sometimes things come up during the day that require us to step away. It is best to just text or Facebook Message us to confirm before heading to the store.
