If you're looking for a holiday tradition, bundle up the kids and head to Downtown Nisswa on Friday, November 28 for our City of Lights celebration! We will embrace the holiday season with dazzling lights that will adorn trees, fences, and buildings in beautiful Downtown Nisswa. The annual event begins in the afternoon with cozy train rides, Polar Express storytelling, delicious food merchants, warm bonfires, hot cider and mini donuts and holiday carolers. The littles can share their wishes with Santa and the entire family can enjoy fireworks that will illuminate the crisp winter sky.

4pm    Bonfires will be lit along the Paul Bunyan Trail

4pm    Polar Express Storytelling (limited seating) - Caboose (across the street from Pioneer Village)

4-5:30pm    Santa & Mrs. Claus in the Nisswa Square Courtyard

4-6pm    Pequot Lakes High School Choir Carolers - Strolling

4-7pm    Train Rides through town- Turtle Track

5-7 pm    Live Nativity Scene by Our Lady of the Lakes Parish Youth - Pioneer Village (show starts every 30 minutes)

6pm     SANTA ARRIVES TO THE GAZEBO!

7pm    FIREWORKS! by North Star Fireworks - Nisswa Community Center (no parking due to safety zone)
